While
there are no special AA members, many have special needs, or are homebound. We
define AA's with special needs or shut-ins as persons who are visually impaired,
hearing impaired, chronically ill or homebound and those with limited reading
skills. The goal is to make AA accessible.
The
members of the Shut-in/Special Needs Committee explore, develop, and offer
alternatives to make the AA message and participation in our program available
to everyone.
